Pot of Legawherry - Comedagh and return to Tullymore

We had hopes of getting up one of the gullies on Comedagh from the Pot but the weather took a turn for the worse and so.......

I haven't seen the Mournes look like this in many years. A proper winter for once. Despite the blizzard the temperatures were not that low and the snow was soft and unconsolidated despite the last few weeks of rising and falling temperatures. The reason is that nearly all the snow is quite fresh as the Mournes have escaped the big dumps experienced in other parts of the country.

The wall itself is in parts almost buried behind drifts of snow. Sometimes only the capstones are showing

There were a fair few hardy souls braving the weather
